Trademark (and Domains)
A protected brand identifier; registering or using a domain confusingly similar to someone's trademark exposes the holder to disputes and loss of the name.
Trademark screening before registration is non-negotiable for professionals: a name you cannot lawfully sell to anyone in the category is not an asset. Generic dictionary use of a word remains lawful — context decides.
