Domainer (Domain Investor)
A person or company that acquires domain names as assets, holding them to resell to end users or other investors.
Professional domainers manage portfolios: acquisition criteria, annual renewal budgets, pricing strategy and outbound sales. The economics resemble venture investing — a small share of the portfolio produces most of the returns.
